This report shows the cost structure of dried meat powder production by spray drying. Lean meat is first grounded in a regular meat grinding machine or sausage device. The next stage in the method is to mix the pulped fibre carefully with the extractives earlier removed from it. Then this blend is prepared for drying. The pulverized fibre ions and other insoluble materials are separated from the soluble material droplets. Then all these components are placed together and blended to create a homogeneous liquid, which is then spray dried to produce dried powdered meat.
