In this process, the guar seeds are first dried and separated from the seeds manually. Further, through roasting, differential attrition, sieving, and polishing, the seeds are cracked, and the germ is segregated from the endosperm. Finally, two endospermic halves are extracted from the seed and the undehusked guar splits are obtained. Then, the undehusked guar splits undergo refining through the removal of the fibrous material that forms the husk and treated to yield the final product.
