The manufacturing process of High-Density Polyethylene starts with dissolving ethylene monomer and co-monomers in hot cyclohexane or other solvent suitable for polyethylene. The reaction occurs in the presence of a catalyst in the reactor, in the temperature range of above 140°-150°C, and at reactor pressure to produce High-Density Polyethylene as the final product.
