Patchouli Oil Production from Steam Distillation of Patchouli Leaves

This report provides the cost structure of production of Patchouli Oil by the steam distillation of dried Patchouli leaves. The dried leaves charged into the extractor and steam is passed though it. The condensate carries the water and essential oil from the leaves. It is then purified by distillation to obtain Patchouli Oil.
