This report entails the detailed cost evaluation of Xenon Hexafluoride production via Thermal Reaction of Fluorine and Xenon. The reaction begins with the heating of xenon and fluorine in a sealed, air-tight reactor. The atmosphere within the reactor is precisely controlled, where the mixture of xenon and fluorine in the ratio of 1:20 is heated at around 300 °C for 15-17 h at a total pressure of about 50 atm. The mixture is later purified by adding sodium fluoride, followed by the thermal decomposition of sodium xenon heptafluoride (NaXeF7). Xenon fluoride is produced as the final product, obtained from the thermal decomposition of the resultant product.
