The expansion strengthens Stepan’s position as the largest AOS producer in North America, with enhanced capabilities across its Millsdale (Illinois), Anaheim (California), and Winder (Georgia) facilities. These upgrades improve operational efficiency, supply reliability, and flexibility to meet growing customer demand.

AOS is a versatile surfactant used in detergents, personal care products, and industrial applications. Its superior foaming, cleansing, and environmental benefits make it ideal for sulfate-free formulations, including shampoos, body washes, and green cleaning products. Additionally, AOS serves industries such as oilfield, agriculture, construction, and emulsion polymerization.
