It has excellent flexibility, ductility, optical clarity, and low-temperature performance due to 16.5-24% methyl acrylate content that reduces crystallinity. EMA offers strong compatibility with polar and non-polar polymers, superior adhesion, filler acceptance, and thermal stability for processing via extrusion or moulding. It remains non-corrosive with inhibitors to prevent polymerisation and compliance for food-contact uses under regulations like 21CFR 177.1340.
