Production Process

Portland cement is produced by crushing and blending limestone, clay, shale, and other raw materials into a homogeneous raw meal. The mixture is preheated and calcined in a rotary kiln at approximately 1,450°C to form clinker. The clinker is subsequently cooled and finely ground with gypsum to regulate setting time.
