In a recent gathering, the IT and Industries Minister of Telangana emphasized the state's rapid emergence as a central hub for electronics manufacturing. He noted the consistent efforts by the state over the past nine years to attract global electronics giants. With notable investments from major players like Foxconn earlier this year, the Minister expressed optimism that Corning's new venture will mark the dawn of a revolutionary phase in smartphone manufacturing in both Telangana and the broader Indian market.

High-ranking officials from the state, including the Principal Secretary for Industries & IT, Special Secretary for Investment Promotion & NRI Affairs, and the Director of Electronics, also marked their presence during the discussions with the Corning Inc. representatives.
