Ethylene brassylate, or Musk T, is a synthetic fragrance ingredient belonging to the artificial musk family. It is a member of the fragrance structural group lactide derivatives and macrocyclic lactone. The fragrance's ingredient described herein is among the 12 structurally diverse C14, C15, and C16 compounds, including saturated mono-and saturated di-ester lactones as well as unsaturated lactones.

It has a musk-like scent that serves as a stabilizer and a base note in many fragrances. Earlier, musk fragrances were split from animal secretions like musk deer. Ethylene brassylate is extensively used as an odour (like macrocyclic musk herbal oily, poorly soluble in Propylene glycol, Sweet-musky somewhat oily odour of outstanding tenacity, Poorer grades of this ester tend to develop fatty-rancid, almost Castor oil-like off-odours upon ageing). It is used in musk oriental Fougere chypre blender-all-type, floral-type, and soap-perfumes, among other fragrances.
