Production Process of Linerboard

• Production From Softwood Trees: The process involves chopping of softwood trees, such as conifers, to obtain logs of the trees, followed by the process of bark removal and chopping the logs into wood chips. Then, wood chips are transformed into pulp by removing lignin and is washed to make a slurry of the fibre and water. Further, the slurry is sprayed, and the pulp is dried to convert it into paper.
