Aluminum hydroxide, also known as Alumina Trihydrate, is the hydrated oxide of aluminium. On March 31st, the average price of domestic aluminium ingots in the East China market was 22,640 RMB/MT, down 0.44 percent from the day before. The price of aluminium had already risen in the early phases, and it was currently at a fairly high level, despite the fact that the energy price in Europe was at a high level and there was still the chance of a decline in international aluminium ingot production.

The downstream of domestic aluminium ingots was affected by traffic conditions, and the downstream operating rate had dropped. The operating rate of aluminium profiles, sheets, strips, and foils, on the other hand, had recovered.

It can also be taken as an antacid to help buffer the pH of the stomach. Alumina trihydrate is primarily used to make aluminum metal. It's also used in polymers like rubber and carpet backing as a flame retardant and smoke suppressant filler.

Commercially available aluminum hydroxide is produced using the Bayer process, which involves dissolving bauxite in sodium hydroxide at temperatures of up to 270 °C (518 °F). The waste solid, bauxite tailings, is removed, and aluminum hydroxide is precipitated from the sodium aluminate solution that remains.
