Ami Organics Ltd has taken a significant step by entering into a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with a renowned global manufacturer specializing in electrolytes for battery cells and related materials, with plans to establish operations in Gujarat.
In a disclosure to regulatory bodies, the company outlined its intention to further sign an MoU with the Gujarat government during the forthcoming Vibrant Gujarat Summit 2024. This subsequent MoU is aimed at investing ?300 crore to set up an electrolyte manufacturing facility within the state.
On this development, Naresh Patel, the Executive Chairman and Managing Director of Ami Organics Limited, expressed his anticipation of the collaboration. He conveyed that this MoU stands as a first-of-its-kind for Ami Organics, partnering with a distinguished player in the electrolyte production sphere. Patel noted the privilege of forging a long-term association with such an established name in the industry, indicating a positive outlook for the company’s future endeavors in this domain.
