Hero Electric announced a collaboration with ElectricPe to set up charging points across India, including access to the latter's network. The electric vehicle charging platform recently pledged to install 1 lakh charging stations by the end of the year.

It will be nestled in residential complexes, offices, malls, and other establishments, mitigating the range anxiety issue. The partnership will assist in reinforcing the charging network and thrust EV implementation across the country.

A solid charging network is critical for the developing EV sector's speedier adoption of EVs across the segment, according to Sohinder Gill, CEO of Hero Electric. Customers will have a smoother charging and EV riding experience due to this partnership, which will be made possible by ElectricPe's charging points being placed on a massive scale around the country.

ElectricPe is a B2C EV demand generation and charging software that provides EV users with a one-stop shop for finding charging stations while tracking real-time usage and guaranteeing a secure network. Hero Electric continues to lead efforts to speed the development of a comprehensive charging network by installing junctions at local kirana stores and other common areas to make EV charging more convenient for customers.

By 2026, India will have over 2 million electric vehicles on the road. Hero Electric has partnered with ElectricPe, an EV charging network, to install charging stations for its customers across India to address this demand. Hero Electric riders will be able to use ElectricPe's charging network as part of the partnership. The business recently committed to installing 1,00,000 charging points by the end of the year.

A robust charging network is vital for the burgeoning EV industry for speedier adoption of EVs across the segment, Sohinder Gill, CEO of Hero Electric, said of the agreement. Customers will have a smoother charging and EV riding experience due to this partnership, which will be made possible by ElectricPe's charging points, which are being placed on a big scale around the country.

He added that they are working diligently to scale up the charging infrastructure as part of their vision and commitment to advancing the growth of electric vehicles. Also, they are optimistic about the alliance as it will contribute to the continued drive for electric vehicles and a smooth transition to clean and green mobility options.

Their goal has been to make the transition to electric mobility as smooth as possible for consumers across India in their various commuting activities. As a result, they are ecstatic to be partnering with India's major businesses, as it validates the trust their offer to the market.

According to Avinash Sharma, ElectricPe's Co-Founder and CEO, the partnership with Hero Electric will help them achieve their aim of providing clean and inexpensive charging to a billion Indians right at their doorstep.

ElectricPe is a B2C EV demand generation and charging app that gives EV drivers a one-stop-shop for finding EV charging stations and tracking their consumption. Avinash Sharma and Raghav Rohila launched the company in May 2021. The startup wants to find and utilise charging stations as simply as possible. In addition, Hero Electric is expanding the charging network by installing connections at local kirana stores and other popular areas.
