Air Liquide invests USD 50 million to fortify its hydrogen footprint in the US

Air Liquide is expanding its strategic network along the U.S. Gulf Coast to meet the requirements of new customers. The company has entered into new long-term hydrogen supply agreements with two of the largest refiners in the United States, which will substantially strengthen its presence in Texas.
To support this increased demand, the Group plans to optimize its existing hydrogen infrastructure through targeted investments totaling close to 50 million USD. This funding will facilitate strategic enhancements to its pipeline system, along with the addition of new compression and distribution equipment that will be integrated directly into the current network. This method allows for a significant increase in supply capacity while minimizing the need for new greenfield construction, thereby making efficient use of Air Liquide's established assets.
