LyondellBasell Industries NV, based in Rotterdam, Netherlands, has revealed that Jiangsu Fenghai High-Tech Materials Co., Ltd. has opted for its Lupotech T high-pressure polyethylene technology for their upcoming production facility. This technology will be incorporated into a new 200,000-ton/yr vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA) production line situated in Lianyungang, Jiangsu Province, China.

Neil Nadalin, who holds the position of Director Global Licensing and Services at LyondellBasell, emphasized the continued preference for their Lupotech T high-pressure process in EVA production. He further highlighted the significance of this technology in the global energy transition, particularly in producing special EVA and LDPE resins for solar cell production and other related applications. He believes that this new licensing will bolster Jiangsu Fenghai's efforts in propelling this energy transition.

On the other hand, Mr. Zhao Zan Li, the General Manager of Jiangsu Fenghai High-Tech Materials Co., Ltd., expressed satisfaction in their choice of a well-established high-pressure process technology. He believes this will allow them to concentrate on their project's execution, aiming for a punctual completion and successful launch. He also conveyed his contentment in having LyondellBasell as their Lupotech T licensor for the project.

The Lupotech T process, with its decades of experience in high-pressure application design, stands out as the favored technology for LDPE/EVA plant operators. Its high conversion rates, proven plant availability, and efficient process heat integration underscore its energy efficiency.
